Annpurna Royel Trek
Annapurna Royal trek is the Short trek around the Pokhara valley which offers the fantastic view of the mountains and the pristine village life and culture. This trekking trail is named as the royal trek after the Prince Charles of Wales trek in this route in 1981 along with his 90 entourage. In this trek you can enjoy the splendid panorama of the mountains like Machhapuchhre, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu. Royal trek is the off the beaten trek where you find no or less number of trekkers. This easy and short trek is suited for those who have limited holiday time and physically weak people as well as the family trekking. In this trek you get opportunity to explore the Gurung, Magar, Brahmin villages and get insight into their lifestyle, culture, tradition and religion. In this trek you do not trek in the high altitude but experience the Himalayan nature, mountain vistas and the rustic life.
The easy and short royal trek begins from the Pokhara city and the trekking trail passes through the ethnic village of Magar, Gurung, Brahmin etc, peaceful forest against the back drop of the snow clad mountains. In different villages like Arghaun village, Thulokote, Chisapani etc, you can know the ethnic culture enjoying their greetings and friendly behavior. It provides the unforgettable memory in your life. In this trek you enjoy the excellent view of the Begnas and Rupa Lake from a ridge between these two lakes. While trekking in the forest you enjoy the beautiful songs of the birds as well as encounter the wild animals. This trek ends at Begnas Lake. You can go for Royal trek throughout the year; however the best season are autumn and spring when the weather is clear and you can have the clear view of the mountains as well as the natural scenery.
Day to day Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Google treks visit Mustang will warmly and heartily receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). After the completion of our legal and custom formalities, we can forwarded to Google treks visit Mustang along with our luggage. There, either we can take rest or can have a short view of Kathmandu, that depends on your own interest and your condition. Google treks visit Mustang will organize a reception dinner at tremendously beautiful and well facilitated restaurant enjoying Nepalese culture and obviously fine meal.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
We can have a shot and sweet sight view along to Kathmandu enriched with the natural and cultural heritages here like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath temple ,Buddha and many more. At the noon, the pre-trip discussion is held where we can ask if any queries regarding the trip and then coming adventure.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara
Early Morning from Kathmandu we take a tourist bus to Pokhara which will take around 6 to 7 hours for us to reach there. We can view a heartwarming view all the way to Pokhara .Pokhara valley obviously offers us with a magnificent view Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu along with the spectacular view of many lakes. We may stay the night at Pokhara viewing the wonderful view of Lakeside and the cities of Pokhara.
Day 04: Pokhara to Kalikastan
Early morning with sun, we begin our trekking. We have to first drive over to Bijayapur Khola. Thereafter, the course of walking begins. After crossing the river, we have to move onward to Kalikastan. On the way, we will have our lunch. After walking for several hours we can reach to Kalikastan. The night will be at nearest guest house. The Kalikastan is located at the height of 1370m.
Day 05: Kalikasthan to Syaklung
The journey today is around 5-6 hours trekking. On the way there are different villages and the interaction with the local inhabitants will be equally graceful. The way ends up with the forests of Rhododendron .The Syaklung is situated at the height of around 1730m with a fantastic part of Annapurna and Lamjung Himal.
Day 06: Syaklung to Chisapani:
The trekking trail from Syaklung to Chisapani is about 5-6 hours. The way goes through the Gurung community. One can have a close view to the lifestyle and culture of Gurung people living here. The route goes all the way through the forest of Rhododendron and Sal trees. After several hours of walking we may easily reach to Chisapani situating at the height of 1550m. The night will be at Chisapani.
Day 07: Chisapani to Pokhara:
The day stars with the walking downhill to Rupa Tal and then to the uphill to Sundare Danda. Again walking downhill to Begnas Tal and then to Pokhara. We can view a panoramic view of mountains hills and many lakes from here.
Day08: Drive Back To Kathmandu:
After spending the night at Pokhara and having a fine breakfast, we will start the journey of Today towards Kathmandu. We will have a drive of around 6-7 hours in a tourist bus or from any other medium of transportation. We will stay the night at excellent Hotel of Kathmandu.
Day 09: Final departure:
