Kwande Peak Climbing
Kwangde peak climbing is one of the difficult peak to climb on. To climb through this peak, we need better knowledge and well experience of mountaineering and climbing. This route is technically very complicated one. While making this tough journey we can see glaciers of Karyolung at the altitude of 6511m, Khartang at the height of 6853m, Numbur at the height of 6959m. We can also view some of the glorious mountains throughout the way. All the mountaineers who have climbed this peak as the toughest one as numerous has said it to impossible. We need the help of better guides and trekkers while climbing this peak. We should be facilitated with good equipments with experienced trekkers to make our journey safe and joyful. The first climb of Kwangde is made in 1975 by Nepalese expedition. Experienced mountaineers who are looking for adventurous trekking can find Kwangde peak climbing really interesting.
Our way goes through Namche bazaar from Lukla to Tengboche, Dingboche, and Chhukung and will be back to Lukla through the same way. So this trekking can also be considered as an expedition. The season between September to December and February to May is considered as one of the best season to have a trekking over to this area. Mainly people of Gurung and Sherpa community used to live here. Many of us will find the lifestyle and customs of Sherpa people quiet interesting and researchable. The monasteries made by them at the side of the route are brilliant. We can see many beautiful paintings along with the picture painted on the stones.
Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuvan international airport
When you arrive at TIA, a representative of Google treks visit Mustang will be there to welcome. After receiving the heartwarming welcome from the representative, we can proceed towards the Hotel. The night we will spend at the hotel discussing about the trekking and preparing for the trekking. The hotel will offers us with a delicious dinner.
Day 02: Flight to Lukla from Kathmandu and trek to Phakding
After having the breakfast, we will escorted towards the airport as we have to flew over to Lukla for around 45 minutes. After boarding from the flight at the height of 2800m, our gateway towards our destination resumes. We have to walk until we reach to Phakding. We spend the night at the nearest lodges at that area.
Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar:
We have to continue our way to the pine forests along with the Dudh Koshi River. After walking for several hours we can enter at the Sagarmatha National Park. Continuing our journey we can reach at Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar offers us with the magnificent and wonderful views. We stay the night at Namche Bazaar at the altitude of 3440m above sea level.
Day 04: Namche bazaar to Tengboche
After walking for around5-6 hours, we can reach at Tengboche .We can view a spectacular view all the way to Tengboche. We can see mountains like Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, and a close view of other many mountains. We can see many musk deer, snow leopard, and other high altitude living animals. Finally we reach at Tengboche at the altitude of 3870m above sea level.
Day 05: Tengboche to Dingboche
We can see many monasteries at Tengboche with beautiful paintings and pictures pasted on it. Then we continue our way up to the hills. We can have a close view of Mt. Ama Dablam throughout the way. After walking around 6 hours we can reach at Dingboche .There we can see many fields enclosed by stone walls to protect the corns and grains from the snowy wind and animals . Mainly they grow Barley, Buck wheat and Potatoes. We stay the night at Dingboche.
Day 06: Dingbouche to Chhukung
From Dingboche, we have to move forward to Chhukung. We have to walk around 4 to 5 hours to complete our aim today. Chhukung is situated at the height of around 4743m where we can have a good acclimatization. We can stay the night at Chhukung.
Day 07: Trek to Imja Tse base camp
From Chhukung, we should forward our steps to the high hills of Imja base camp. The base camp is situated at the altitude of 4900m. We can see beautiful mountains throughout the way to Imja base camp from Chhukung. We stay the night at the base camp by camping fire.
Day 08: Base camp to summit and back to base camp
Today is the climbing day to the summit. We start the journey early in the morning with the sun. Some of the trekkers made this trekking for two days by climbing over to high camp and then to summit. It will take continuously 8 to9 hours to complete our goal. The summit is at the height of 6100m whereas the high base camp is situated at the height of 5700m.
Day 09: Back to Chhukung
After completing our magnificent journey up to the summit, we will now be returned towards Chhukung. The rough trek will not be tough enough to discourage to trek more. We all will be guided by extreme joy of completing our main aim. The Chhukung is at the altitude of 4730m.
Day 10: Back to Dingboche
From Chhukung, we should continuously walk down to Dingboche following the main trail. Dingboche is situated at the height of 4350m. We can equally enjoy the every moment downward to Dingboche. We will be glad to stay the night at Dingboche.
Day 11: Dingboche to Tengboche
We should follow the main trail to walk down to Tengboche from Dingboche. Dingboche is situated at the height of 4350m whereas Tengboche is at the height of 3876m. So, the difference in the climate within one day may make some fellow travelers sick. We spend the night at Tengboche acclimatizing ourselves.
Day 12: Tengboche to Namche bazaar
From Tengboche we headed down to Namche bazaar. Namche bazaar is situated at the height of 3440m. We can view magnificent range of mountains. We can spend the day visiting Namche bazaar. We can see some government offices, hospitals, shops, banks with ATMs. We will find actually fun staying the day at Namche bazaar.
Day 13: Back to Phakding
From Namche bazaar we should move down to sloppy land through the pine and rhododendron forest. Sagarmatha national park is another attraction point here. Thus, if we are lucky, we can encounter with the nature along with the wild life at Sagarmatha national park. We have to spend the night at the nearest lodges.
Day 14: Phakding to Lukla
After having the breakfast, we have to continue our way down to Lukla. On the way ,we can see many beautiful scene. The white laughing mountains with sparkling green forest will surely refreshed our mood and will encourage us for the further move. Continuing our way down to the land will leads us towards Lukla. We will spend the night over there.
Day 15: Lukla to Kathmandu and final departure
From Lukla we catch the early flight to Kathmandu. We will be at Kathmandu to have our lunch. After resting for several hours, we will be headed towards airport for flight. The trekking agency has already arranged the prerequisite, so it will be easy to board to the plane to fly over to our home destination.
